Things are going well!
As suggested by n3o, I will probably relocate this website to a subdomain. Perhaps find someone who is interested in becoming admin of the parapsychological practitioners society. Otherwise eventually it'll probably completely disappear...

Contrary to what I said before, anyone who was a member of this site will NOT be registered on the new site (aside from those who are already and also know it).

Update SEP-26-2009

The forums and eveything else of current PPS will stay online for a while longer because I decided to use a completely new database. So taking everything offline right away won't be needed and in the meantime I can work on the new site. I am really hoping to inspire people to join, the content will be much more 'mature', and topics like psychology, science and technology, spirituality, even music and more will all be covered and woven together, so to speak.

Anyone who would now join this PPS would probably not be interested in the new site. That is, if you're only into PSI stuff and such. I'm sorry, but I want to be of some kind of service to everyone out there and creating a different website is a way to reach many many people. This current PPS is just too focussed on 'being special', and I don't like that at all, as you might have noticed. Besides, for me it is only logical and even natural to do whatever I can do as far as I am capable and aware of things. It will hopefully inspire people to be more open minded and consider things they haven't before. And it allows you to inspire others with the things you have to say. I know there are some great thinkers among you and now is the time to share every creative, constructive idea! Lets not leave everything in hands of organisations and 'leaders' and shit, lets join the organisation called HUMANITY and get things straight on this planet!

Hope to see you there! Working hard to finish the site as soon as possible!

Announcement:

PPSociety is going to change!

Some of you are aware of it, some of you aren't. Some of you just dismiss the whole idea. But for us it is quite clear. This planet is changing. The human consciousness is changing. There are things going on that most humans who only follow mainstream media aren't aware of. And much more.

PPSociety will be changed to Peace Planet Society. What kind of website will that be?
It will be for people who respect all paths that in the eyes of the person following the path can help creating a united world.
It will be for discussing technologies that can help in the process of eliminating for example, energy problems.
It will be to discuss the little psychological intricacies that keep people from experiencing a relaxed and joyful life.
And more!
Of course a new layout will be created.

It will not be a place where you can make your ego grow. If you want to be very special or pursue ideas that make you feel special and different, I would suggest you conintue living your life until you are faced with the effects of your desires.

Other than that, we'll just see how it goes :)

Starting this weekend, everything except for user accounts will be removed. This means all the entire forum will start over. So joining PPS now is really joining the new site.

psi wheel: i did it

I created my psi wheel tonight and to my suprise, I managed to move it with my hand in the first 15 minutes.
I followed the advice given in this link: http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/fo ... opic=11624
I felt the energy building in my stomach area and chanelled it towards my right hand.

I did notice though that there are so many other factors that could influence the moving of the wheel. I made sure my windows were closed so no wind could be accounted for. However, any deep let out of air and it was spinning like a polaroid picture. So I practically held my breath when I felt I had enough energy in my hand to move it. Even a slight movement of the hand can create a tiny gust to move the wheel.
BUT, my hand was still, my breathe was held, windows closedl and it was spinning. However, I wasn't able to change the direction of the spinning. In fact, it wasn't even spinning in the direction I had intended.

My big question is though...will I be able to do it with no hand. I think once I achieve this I will feel proud. How long did it take you peeps to move the wheel without the use of hands? I can't wait to master this and be able to move straws and then other objects!!!

If there is anything incorrect in this or you have any tips, please feel free to contribute as I am terribly new at all this.

After doing with the hands, pay attention to what you feel in yourself. You will find that certain feelings are always present when the wheel moves. focusing with your mind with the right feeling will make it move with no hands at all.

McLoud thats like exactly how i see it

When i see results with an exercise i immediately try to analyse the "feeling" i get at the moment of movement. Of course once i stop to analyse it, i lose the feeling and the frame of mind altogether.
This concept just seems really fundamental to me - its like a TK shortcut. Instead of practicing certain techniques and visualisations to evoke this "feeling" which causes TK, you cut out the middle man and recreate the very 'feeling' itself. TK on demand.. would be great wouldn't it?

Of course its just a theory...

(The reason i put feeling in speech marks is because to me its not just a feeling as it is a perception or frame of mind also) ^__^

The feeling helps to know if you're in the right mind set or not, but it isn't alone the real thing, and if you focus only on it, you will notice that you can recreate it but can't move anything with it alone. Use it as a 50%-correct guide, nothing else

Yes it is in all realism able to move the psi wheel with no hands. i have just started working on the psi wheel exerise but 3 days ago. The last time i tried moving the psi wheel was a year ago and i used my hands but now i've just been alternating using my hand near th wheel and no hands at all.It varies for all people but for me it seems alot easier to move the psi wheel withought using my hands and just directing my thoughts towards the psi wheel.Also i have trouble with the psi wheel.When i move it it turns halfway around and then turns back to where it was. How might i fix this problem?
