Things are going well!
As suggested by n3o, I will probably relocate this website to a subdomain. Perhaps find someone who is interested in becoming admin of the parapsychological practitioners society. Otherwise eventually it'll probably completely disappear...

Contrary to what I said before, anyone who was a member of this site will NOT be registered on the new site (aside from those who are already and also know it).

Update SEP-26-2009

The forums and eveything else of current PPS will stay online for a while longer because I decided to use a completely new database. So taking everything offline right away won't be needed and in the meantime I can work on the new site. I am really hoping to inspire people to join, the content will be much more 'mature', and topics like psychology, science and technology, spirituality, even music and more will all be covered and woven together, so to speak.

Anyone who would now join this PPS would probably not be interested in the new site. That is, if you're only into PSI stuff and such. I'm sorry, but I want to be of some kind of service to everyone out there and creating a different website is a way to reach many many people. This current PPS is just too focussed on 'being special', and I don't like that at all, as you might have noticed. Besides, for me it is only logical and even natural to do whatever I can do as far as I am capable and aware of things. It will hopefully inspire people to be more open minded and consider things they haven't before. And it allows you to inspire others with the things you have to say. I know there are some great thinkers among you and now is the time to share every creative, constructive idea! Lets not leave everything in hands of organisations and 'leaders' and shit, lets join the organisation called HUMANITY and get things straight on this planet!

Hope to see you there! Working hard to finish the site as soon as possible!

Announcement:

PPSociety is going to change!

Some of you are aware of it, some of you aren't. Some of you just dismiss the whole idea. But for us it is quite clear. This planet is changing. The human consciousness is changing. There are things going on that most humans who only follow mainstream media aren't aware of. And much more.

PPSociety will be changed to Peace Planet Society. What kind of website will that be?
It will be for people who respect all paths that in the eyes of the person following the path can help creating a united world.
It will be for discussing technologies that can help in the process of eliminating for example, energy problems.
It will be to discuss the little psychological intricacies that keep people from experiencing a relaxed and joyful life.
And more!
Of course a new layout will be created.

It will not be a place where you can make your ego grow. If you want to be very special or pursue ideas that make you feel special and different, I would suggest you conintue living your life until you are faced with the effects of your desires.

Other than that, we'll just see how it goes :)

First OBE accomplished...followed by Lucid Dream!

I'm going to try and be as much detailed as possible in order for others to learn from my experience and try it out themselves. Maybe they will succeed....

That day, I slept really early in the day....about 3-4PM. I hadn't slept well throughout the week so I was pretty tired. I woke up at around 8:30PM, ate some dinner, watched a movie and then TRIED to go back to sleep (I went back to sleep at around 11:00PM). The thing was...I COULDN'T. I was thinking too much, I was tired but not enough to be able to sleep easily. I twisted and turned and twisted and turned....I couldn't get comfortable. Finally, I fell "asleep" on my back.

You know what its like when you start to drift and then come back to reality? Well the same thing happened only this time, I "woke up" in a weird way. I moved around in my bed, I tried to talk but my body felt extremely weird. My arms were heavy and when my lips moved....and I felt my metaphysical lips and arms moving through my physical lips and arms. Through this whole ordeal, I thought I was awake. Then I stopped moving and went back to sleep.

I then began to have a pretty lucid dream. I won't explain the dream but I was following somebody without being noticed so I was pretty focused on what I was doing. Then, at some point in my dream, I had control over how far I jumped....until eventually, mid-jump, I realized I was dreaming. Everything was so vivid and the excitement was overwhelming. My mind was getting really excited and I tried so hard to control that excitement. I failed and woke up. While waking up, my arms seemed to fall back into its physical place.

Lesson learned: When it comes to Lucid Dreams, don't attempt to control you're excitement....just go with the flow and let things happen. When it comes to OBE's, I didn't realize I had an OBE until later the next day when I dream recalled. So try to set your mind to recognize what an OBE is and how it feels in order to control them.

I'm very happy this has happened. I feel I have accomplished a lot because I tried for a year to get an OBE and I would get close and then bail. Very frustrating but the outcome is rewarding.....DO NOT GIVE UP!!!
